Glossybox April

It's my favourite time of the month again! I'm actually quite impressed with this month's box, which is not something I thought I'd be saying after months of being unsatisfied- I even cancelled my subscription for all of 4 hours before instantly regretting it and swiftly adding it back (phew!).
Anyway this is what I received this month;

  • Tresemme dry shampoo- Lovely! I was actually going to buy some of this as I've run out so this is quite handy. The only thing I dislike about this particular one is the scent, it smells like a gone-off talcum powder (if that's even possible). I don't actually use dry shampoo a lot as I don't like the texture on my hair, it also tends to make it even flatter somehow but hey ho, I might as well use it.
  • MeMeMe highlighter- Usually, highlighters have that awful tinny scent which is really off putting when applying- this one doesn't have it at all which is brilliant! It is quite a good size as well, meaning I can pop it in my clutch on a night out or even my work bag for when my face needs a little pick-me-up.
  • SunSense 50+ SPF- I've never come across this brand before, but I like the simple design of the packaging- although I hate these tubes as you can't re-seal them! I'm actually going away later this year so this is a nice little face tint/sun cream to use for when I'm away.
  • Emite make-up lip brush- Funnily enough, I was actually on the lookout for a new lip brush. I do already own one by LancĂ´me but recently I've been delving into the world of bright lippie so I needed a more precise, thinner brush. This one looks quite promising!
  • MONUspa massage oil- I believe I've had a face moisturiser from the brand 'MONU' before in a previous Glossybox. I can't say I'm impressed with this oil if I'm honest but that may be because I'm completely repulsed by ginger scents. I think I'll be passing this on to my mum. Other than the scent, it does seem quite a nice product, but you can't really go wrong with massage oil can you?

All in all, I'm quite pleased. I would have probably gone and bought most of these products if I hadn't received them in this box, especially the Tresemme dry shampoo as I use that brand quite often. Glossybox is a nice little inexpensive treat once a month and it gives me the chance to try new products and brands that I haven't heard of before.

The Body Shop

If you're ever going to purchase the goody bags from TBS, then I highly recommend it. These were my 2 favourite pieces from the set and I absolutelybloodywell LOVED them! My lovely boyfriend treated me to at Christmas so I thought I'd test them out for you!

The one on the left is the cocoa butter body cream. This is the thickest, most luxurious cream you will ever come across- I use this every night and although I'm not 100% keen on the scent, I'm sure chocolate lovers will absolutely adore this. I suffer from extremely dry skin ever since I had antibiotics for acne a few years ago and I've been looking for a decent cream ever since. This has definitely worked the best out of many different brands I've tried before. There are many different flavours to choose from and at just £12 per pot, it definitely isn't going to break the bank.

On the right is the face moisturising cream. I don't tend to change up my moisturiser very often as I know what works for me, but I thought I'd give this one a go. I'm glad I did as this was the most hydrating moisturiser I've used. The cream is fairly thick and brilliant when used before bed as a generous layer. I love the simple packaging and the fact that it hasn't got a strong scent. The only fault I could come up for this one is that the pot is on the large side for a moisturiser, so I probably wouldn't like to carry it around with me. Other than that, they're amazing!
